Arken SH-4 4-14x44

Thanks Joe. There seems to be a lot of rifle scope players recently. Charlie at Airgun Optics Plus has apparently had reliability issues. I'm not experienced enough with scopes to know if others like Vector, Mueller, or the aforementioned Arken have similar problems. Then there is the warranty. The value of scopes with transferable, lifetime warranties is an inherent part of their value. It's difficult to see the value of these scopes with one year warranties as anything other than short term solutions without real value in the long term no matter how good they are...

I bought this scope from Joe after he tortured it :). Have to say I'm very impressed. Glass is exceptional for the price point. Ret is very straightforward and on the money. I was shooting at a half inch target at 50 and 100 yards and had no trouble seeing the target at 12X. The clicks are more tactile than my Nightforce that cost 5X what this little scope costs they are dead nuts on as well. I might have to give its big brother a try soon.

Yeah i to say it , but a lot of scope brands simply don't follow thru after the sale. Arken ,Riton , Blackhound, and others are in this market to stay . It's obvious when you meet with them. The Arken guys are REALLY IMPRESSIVE

Do name them please, it would help in making scope purchasing decisions. Lifetime warranties and the ability to honor them. Plus an extensive line of scopes, more than just one or two models. Is what I look for when considering a new scope. The more players in the scope market the better, to a point. I learned that lesson with my Aztec Emerald and purchased an Athlon Helos. And while the Aztec is awesome and I still own it, the depth of their lineup pales in comparison to Athlon.

Hi receive mine today thanks to Joe review for my cricket compact. 22...awesome scopes for the money has the same quality finish as my bushnell Forge 3x18x50..a scope many places have it at $800 ..glass is great, and tracks flawless for $350 shipped simply there's not better deal..fast shipping a good company to do business with...they later will have available other reticles for the high power scope..as soon they do I buy a 6x24..thanks Joe

Will the Arken hold up to an RWS model 54 springer ?

Thanks

Douglas

I don’t think they put any type of rating like that on their scopes since it’s more geared to the powder burner crowd. They do rate them for .50 BMG so I would assume it would do well. Arken gives a lifetime no questions asked and no proof of purchase required so worst case you get a new scope if it doesn’t hold up. You could sell the replacement if you didn’t have anything to put it on. I did have one of the SH4 Gen 2 scopes and sold it mainly because the minimum parallax didn’t go down far enough for me. It was listed at 25 yards but the best I could get it to focus was right at 30 yards. Other than that it was an very good scope with some of the best feeling turrets I have tried.

 Thank you Cannonball & Dairyboy.

Real bummer about the 10 yard focus tho'

I started looking at the Leupold - love the one I put on my 270- but there are no reference points, MOA , on their reticle & they don't currently have a custom shop

and according to the person I spoke with , they have no plans to start it again ever.

Back to Cyclops' channel again. Thanks again
