Arizona hunting question

I've been trying to find places to hunt that are closer to home (southwest Tucson). I'm a little unclear on whether I can hunt on a parcel of state trust land that's inside the city limits of Marana, AZ, but not within 1/4 mile of an occupied structure. I found this article from 2010 about the state putting such lands under the authority of Game & Fish. There's a specific restriction in the 2016 hunting regs for a different part of Marana, but no mention of the area I want to hunt.

Links to the laws mentioned in the article:

ARS §13-3107
ARS §13-3108

Incidentally, it sounds like ARS 13-3107 (D)(2)(c) means I could operate an airgun range in my own yard. Hmm...

Yes if you are in the County you can shoot in your backyard . I would call game and fish and ask them about the parcel, they will quickly tell you if it is ok. I was told if I was shooting in my backyard and a neighbor complained about the noise or saw me shooting an Sheriff would be dispatched, if I had a good backstop and no way for someone outside of my property to enter the shooting area I would be ok. I have a compressed carpet backstop and block wall so no noise and the gun makes no noise. Tens of thousands of rounds and no problems. I would not trust the city of tucson no idea what they would do.
