I have a Zbroia Kozac FC 550 in .22 cal.
It shoots better than my skill level in the stock configuration. But when I put a moderator on it the group opens up.
I’ve done this test with both a moderator I made myself. And (the one I have now) a well know and well respected moderator manufacture. I’m not going to mention the name because I truly don’t believe there is anything wrong with this moderator. Other than perhaps my Zbroia just does not like it.
I do have another one of these moderators and have it on my Prod and it works amazing.
So in my photo. Target at 22 yards. Shooting off sandbags. Two 10 shot groups. #1 is with no moderator. #2 is with my current moderator. Gun was topped off before each group. And Just to be clear. Im not talking about Point Of Impact. Im talking about Group Size.
So basically my question is. Did you have to try multiple moderators in order to find one to group acceptably ?
