Had mine since early 2020 and still use it time to time.
Granted I know these guns inside & out having worked at the factory for a spell back then, had helped in some of the early R&D etc .... There not without there quirks those older / original guns of @ 2018 to 2021 or so.
Factory that built them was a machine shop near Medford OR. and there manufacture was a side business under the same roof. The machine shop closed down and the ownership of JSAR went to the head machinist after business was dissolved.
We do see Mathew ( New owner of JSAR ) time to time at or hanging out at AG shoots in Ashland Oregon and has continued to manufacture them with some nice upgrades curing those quirks the early guns suffered from.
Sadly there is no longer any front man promoting or sharing whats happening on-line etc .... as such there really deep in the shadows being a damn near unknown these days.
Past poor business practices and unresolved issues of previous owner has not helped placing a negative stigma on the brand ... rightly so sadly.
But where rubber meets the road the product performs outstanding once set up correctly and that in itself is where the brand faltered for many who took the bait and got trapped with a gun that fell short of expectations for so many buyers.
I'm super thrilled to own one having played with calibers .177, .20, .22, .25, .30 these past 6 years.
Super powerful & most caliber/ barrel combos accurate to a shooters fault !!!
It these days resides as a High Power .177 cal SLUGGER !!! producing @ 36-40 fpe

with 15 to 18 grain slugs !!! Just an absolute Ice Pick & so fun to shoot !!
1st pic how it looks today ... TI air tube in the HP configuration in .177
