Are there specs in place for scopes.

I have a Center Point 4 to 16 that I really like and have had on a couple of rifles. I then read all the good stuff about the 3 to 9 Bugbuster. I have a small rifle and I did not want a big scope. So I ordered the Bugbuster. I love the size and it clicks real good.

How ever with the Center Point I have never had to go past 6 power at the ranges I have to shoot. With the Bugbuster even on nine is not as powerful. It is just hard to see the object and therefor it is hard to get the good groups I know the gun is capable of.

Is not 6x not 6x everywhere?

I was considering the 4 to 12 Bugbuster but now I think look else where.

Any thoughts?

God Bless

thoughts are that cheaper glass requires your eye to focus harder and the eye box generally is small .. theyll get the job done in a pinch but for long bench type sessions its really going to punish your eyes with a cheap scope .. thats about all i use .. trust me i know lol ... but i dont ever shoot more than a few clips to sight a gun in or something, the rest is all business, pick it up when i need it ..
