Always good to hear another opinion. And meant no ill will in my words. They werent directed to you personally, just a statement for common understanding. Much of what you say I agree. But nice to see how much I get out of you when making a statement that may go against what seems to be the only opinion that matters to you?
Furthermore feeling the need to leave negative feedback over an opinion and not fact. Says a lot of your character. I could understand maybe being off topic getting negative. But encase you've been here longer and more familiar with what seems to be a rule. You should get a minus 2. For further engaging in off topic conversation. Maybe even for sarcasm, while i intended to be honest and serious about the topic in the best of ways. Or how the comment you left seems PREJUDICIAL because the societal norms are different throughout the world and are smaller part of society! If not just PREJUDICE, it is also the thought of a COWARD to feel you are obligated to follow a law that infringes on human necessity in a given moment.
There's too much to say on the subject of law. When it is our responsibility to follow, and when it is our obligation to stand against.
Perspective plays a role. Our founders, are Britain's traitors. Liberators to some, are terrorists to others. Criminals once
breaking law, sometimes become Patriots when the noble truth of their actions are realized.
There's much more to law than blindly doing what your told. Or following what is said to be 'socially acceptable norms.' But more like economically enforceable strategies. If the goal was to save a species for future generations, we wouldn't have silly regulations that allow year round hunting but dictate what you can use to hunt during a specific quarter. Or no limit on dove, so long as we all use shotguns. The concept of law isn't to follow because i am forced under threat of jail or death. If that be the case we are no better than the rule of Stalin, or Nazi Germany. A people burdened by law are by definition an oppressed people. So to say that I person has to have paper money, drive hours to a state office, to pay for a piece of paper, then go back to kill and eat something. Is counter productive to any natural way of living. It just isn't practical, or even at all physically possible in every instance. But to think, well i came out here without a tag so i must starve and die, or eat rat.
Is akin to the last time I went to court and gave my money to a lady over 80yrs old because the judge had the bailiff take her to the holding cell after she said she didn't $50 to pay for not wearing a seat belt until her social security check came in. I made a scene, refused to pay anything to such an unjust court, and wondered how someone with such poor moral character could set on a bench. I was sat in holding, where a lawyer paid out of pocket and in was released the same day. Unless people stand up for the greater good, law will blindly trample us all.
Nearer to an obi wan than padawan... Not quite Yoda either.
