I am in need of a Turkey gun for hunting in Georgia. I would love a .25, as there are many good guns on the market in .25 at reasonable prices. Many a .25 would be great for accurate head shots at distance, an also serve as a squirrel and rabbit gun. However, Georgia, in it's infinite wisdom, has classified turkeys as large game and mandated a .30 or larger.
The problem is a lack of .30s. There are some at the very low end (springers and a Hatsan), and then WHAM! - the price jumps to $1,200 and over for an FX, Ataman, etc. Am I missing some out there, or is the selection for 30 cal really that slim for now?
