any one have both guns ? old and newer ? are the newer magazines smoother in function ?

Are the new Brocock magazines better "smoother" ??

I have both, I personally have never had an issue with either cycling but the new design loads into the breech much easier and I would say smoother. I really like the door because it can be loaded faster and is accessible to be cleaned out.

I have the new style with the flip down door. I have had zero issues with the magazine and the door helps make it easier to load pellets.

I have the older ones for my Brocock Bantam and the newer ones for my Sniper XR, I think the newer ones are smoother.

I have Brocock Bantam Sniper hr magnum. I have original metal mag and 4 cram magazines. I havent had any issues whatsoever with either. Pellets and slugs magazine functions as it should.

I also have HR & XR snipers. Both old and new magazines are built like tanks with smooth functions. I prefer the new style because it holds slugs.

im curious if you couldnt just notch out the new magazine where the bolt probe blade that triggers rotation of the old style magazine ? any one done that ?
