Tuning Are the internals different on the standard vs HP redwolf?

Hello all i was wondering if anyone knows if there are any differences internally on the standard redwolf vs the hp version?

(one is 7,4 volt the other is 11.4 volt both 25 cal.}

I guess what i am asking is if I have a standard redwolf that uses a 7.4 battery

and i take the factory board that came out of a hp redwolf 11.4 volt both are 25 cal

can that be done? and will it make any difference .

I know the hp has a longer barrel. and I would have to add a 11.4 v battery to the standard

Dan, What are you trying to accomplish with the board switch? If you are looking to get more power out of a standard Redwolf, a Heliboard is what you want to get.

Is not only the battery and the board, there are a few internal pieces that you need to change too (AoA probably have the complete upgrade kit, give them a call)

Also if you are changing board, I totally agree with @cannonball Heliboard is the one you need , and if I remember correct, you need to upgrade the barrel if you are going HP

You may find that the better option is to sell or trade the standard power for a HP.
