Are The FX The Only Adjustable Rings?

I really like the concept of not knowing what height rings you will need I like that you can adjust them. Are the FX the best or are there other companies that sell them. If so please let me know. Thanking you all in advance and stay safe.

Adjustable scope rings don't change the fact that you still need the correct scope ring height. Scope objective size, magazine clearance and proper positioning of cheek weld play a factor on what scope ring height you will need. Adjustable scope rings like the FX No Limit Rings are adjustable for elevation and windage so you don't have to max out the elevation in your turrets especially if you're shooting "long range" or getting your initial zero with a scope that has a high Height Over Bore.

Adjustable scope rings are also used once your scope is optically centered and you can make fine adjustments through the turrets after. FX should just add a 20 MOA or 5° scope rail like other airgun manufacturers are doing but then they would lose sales on their FX No Limit Rings lol but that's another topic. Sorry for the derail.

As mentioned above, Sportsmatch, Eagle Vision, Burris and FX are the only ones I know of. I'm not sure if you mentioned if it's for a PCP or springer. If it's a springer, I know Leapers/UTG and others sell the one piece adjustable scope base.

As I know the adjustable rings will not help you to adjust your scope in the right height for your eyes. The purpose of adjustable rings is to give you more elevation (mill / Moa) for longer distance shooting .Usually all companies are offering different heights (low -medium-high) so you can find what is good for your face placement on the gun .Another reason for offering different height rings is that some scopes with big objective lens require bigger height to avoid the contact with the barrel.

I am using in one of my guns sportsmatch 34 mm (high) adjustable rings and I am very happy with their quality and I would buy them again for sure.
When I bought them was the only choice for scopes with 34 mm tube.
Fx adjustable rings are good quality but I think they offer only for 30 mm tube.

Monstrum makes rings specifically for adjusting cheek weld.

So if that's the case why aren't there low medium and high adjustable rings? You would be adjusting the rings to the desired height no?

Here's a Scope Mounting Table, with preference for 30mm adjustable 2-piece rings.

The Scope Mounting Table includes models, prices, mouting height, max. elevation adjustment available, and also if you start with a dovetail and require picatinny.

Happy shopping, 😄

I'm not saying that you can't use it that way, adjusting both front & rear, but why would you want to? IMHO, if you don't want the scope to move around, it's best to buy the correct scope ring height.

If you check the Scope Mounting Table in the download above you'll see how different mnfcts and models have different heights.

Burris offers their version in three heights.

BTW, the FX adjustable rings IIRC are only adjustable for elevation, like most.

Sportsmatch has an elevation AND windage model ($$). 😊

I only use the Burris signature Rings. Have been for almost thirty years. you can get all the elevation with the .05+- ,10+-, and the 20+-. You'll never put A mark on your scope ,good for resale. Any of you guys that shoot Springers, its the only way to go. I like all my scopes with the cross hair centered as close as possible. The inserts will help you to get it as close as possible. Heres some info...
