Are poly barrels chocked?

I am thinking of shortening a .177 Lother Walter barrel. Would like to cut from crown end but not sure if it is chocked. Are they chocked? Thanks, Don

Poly Barrels come both choked and unchoked. The choke on a LW barrel is less than 3/4" long! To determine if you have a choked barrel just push a pellet through it from the breech end and if it is choked you should feel the restriction when you get near the muzzle.
