Are Discovery Scopes springer rated?

Last question, if I decide to just use the discovery scope I have, how will I know if the gun “breaks it”? It’s not an FX where it’s pellet on pellet. I’m new to springers so I’m not the most accurate with them. How will I be able to tell?

also I appreciate everyone’s input. I’ve been reading and looking into the scopes you have all recommended.

OH MAN if you aren't accurate anyway (natural born terrible shot) you won't even know the scope is causing the assisted enhanced inaccuracy.

Use the Discovery so you can blame the scope when you miss then.

You he wasting a lot of pellets though.

With a good scope at least one of the main inaccuracy variables are eliminated.

It's like being too tipsy (wasted) when trying to shoot- like THIS!

Whenever you miss-

After my Diana 460 Magnum springer killed one of my Hawke 3-9x40 scopes, I bought one of those Bullseye ZR scope mounts that Diana makes. I used it under the new scope I replaced the busted scope with and, so far, the new scope is doing fine (knock on wood). I haven't noticed a drop in accuracy by using the ZR mount. Now, I have them on my other springers, too - an Air Arms TX200 and a Diana Model 48. I'm thinking that this recoil absorbing ZR mount is better for a scope than firmly mounting the scope to a springer, especially a magnum springer..

Whatever scope you decide on, use this mount. I put an extremely cheap Simmons scope I received in a trade on my RWS 48 several years ago and used the older style of this mount. I didn’t want to wreck one of my nicer scopes with the springer and I thought the Simmons might hold up for a couple hundred rounds. I used it for about 6 years and know it had well over 1,500 pellets through it by then. The scope worked perfectly when I took it off, I feel the mount was the only reason why it didn’t break.

Just Google ?

Nothing special ?

I do subscribe to a lot of places and get notifications on deals.

I did try to "google" current deals that Bushnell Tac 5-15 scope you mentioned. I got the "usual suspect" sites, Dvor and Optics Planet, etc, all around the $500 price point. Non of the better priced sites came up in my search.👿. Best price right now on that unit from a reputable dealer is at GunMagWarehouse. My browser told me the "deal" at Cheap Ass Ammo was likely a scam site, fyi for those also looking for the Bushnell Tac.

Couple years ago when I was shooting more rimfire, I would use Ammoseek to look up good deals on ammo. They would list the product from cheap to expensive and available or not. Sadly, they don't offer that option for looking up prices on scopes
