Are Airforce Texans regulated? Best caliber?

I noticed that the new Airforce Texan LSS is coming out. Are these guns regulated?

Also, which caliber would be the most long-range accurate? They come in .257, .308, .357, and .457. Any thoughts on the calibers would be appreciated.

.257 for long range. Not regulated.

You can get aftermarket regulators for them but theres really no need for big bores. They arnt plinkers and even the 45 gets a few accurate shots before refill.

Since when?

I have regulated Texan and it is making 744 fpe regulated on 3200 psi. 

I have 3 setups. My 257 condor is regulated on 2250 psi and shoots 65 gr at 950 fps. I set it up for under 140 fpe at RMC. Only problem was there was no mention of a 60 sec time limit for 2 shots on 3 targets at 3 different ranges. So I with drew because it was only going to happen with a magazine fed gun.

I beg to respectfully differ in that statement Sir. As said in other posts but from me personally there is indeed a need for my desired application of longer range groups & even further for Varmints. A step down in-line reg may not be what a woods hunter needs or wants at all. If I’m gonna be Groundhog or Coyote hunting I could get away with a few consistent shots. How do I practice & get consistent though when every shot is slightly declining in most production guns? Well, there’s a few ways but this picture is the set up I’m getting for the Noble .257 Condor & a specialty .243/6mm Scandalous.

 

That black suitcase has (2) 30 minute SCBA bottles in it cascading through regulator & option of hooking up another tank as shown to left of case. The rifle isn’t mine. The set up will be exactly like shown so I can set it down be it on edge of field or public range to show what any non internally regulated air gun can do. 

The precision is better than any internal reg over a much longer shot string. If I even bother to go to a range as there’s thousands of yards around my way to shoot, but I’d only go to get fellas interested in this area of shooting.
