Are 300 bar bottles worth the effort?

I have a feeling at these types of events given the scenario CENTERCUT originally posted, that the fill stations may be with huge welding type tanks chained to posts, like two tanks per station, and a station every 20 yards(all depending on field of competition size and amount of competitors)

Each station will also have a designated person in charge of topping off guns so as not to have yahoo’s messing with fill equipment they aren’t familiar with

Of course heavy duty compressors will also be running constantly, keeping these tanks filled

I saw a thread here on AGN and read the article where the subject of wind drift and slugs was addressed. Looks like 900 fps is about the best velocity anyway so 1050 fps might not be an advantage after all???

Nobody will be able to talk with all the little compressors running.
I laughed too hard at this 😂

Bunch of guys standing around screaming at each other about how these slugs shoot so good at this speed, and the tinge of hot plastic and electrical smoke in the air from overworked Chinese compressors

My thoughts exactly. But don’t forget the YouTube guy screaming at the camera to like and subscribe over a symphony of piston slapping compressors.

The OP was asking, second or third time? for 1050 fps and how many times you can refill a 300cc 300bar bottle from a large scba 310 bar tank.
I am not touching the 1050 fps, that is on FX how many shots you can squeeze out from a 300cc vs 250cc bottle.
I can say if you are able to fill the scba to a 310 bar in a frozen cold - garage including couple cool downs??
I would say from a 310 bar scba which must be big, like no 6 Liters or 9 Liters, but like mine 14 Liters tank, you get two times to refill a 300cc bottle @300 bars, and nomore 300 bars. To get down to 250 bars on a bottle you can refill 6-7 times.
