Mostly interested in their makeup , mostly lead, or fairly high zinc like AEA/JTS?
Apolo pellets, what's the story?

I just did a quick seat of the pants test of 3 brands of .22 cal pellets. The hardness of Apolo seems to be in between JSB and Crosman.

Apolo tiene dos tipos de plomo, el que usa en la version domed lata celeste la cual son mas duros y el material es un gris claro, y la version Air Boss domed Field target, estos son de un material mas oscuro y blando parecido al de JSB, son muchos mas caros que la lata celeste por ser seleccionados supuestamente, pero en muchos rifles andan igual o mejor los de lata celeste, en el caso de mi REd Taget R2 (Avenger) 22 hay diferencia en las agrupaciones, en 6,35 los Air Boss de 25 granos son muy superiores, los domed celeste son muy volantes

Hola, teniendo al alcance JTS/AEA no se preocupe en usar apolo, no son ni la mitad de calidad que los JTS, ojala en mi pais entrara esta marca, me olvidaria para siempre de Apolo.

Apolo seems to have a “high end” line named “Air Boss”.
I’ve tried a .177 9g Air Boss in precision target shooting and it did quite well.
I tried a couple other Air Boss - including a .22 17.xg flathead - and they both did well.
I’d imagine with a little sorting that these pellets give high performance per $

On my bottled jet, it's all I use. 25 caliber. They've got like a 30+ grain and a 25 grain believe. I prefer the heavier ones but they are both great for me 30 yards and in

I ordered about their whole line in 22 cal. The Atomic I had shot them about the same as Crosmans. Nothing like JSB’s.
They are some dirty pellets the way they come, and the release agent they use is one of the hardest I’ve come across during the washing process.

Not sure about their makeup. I’ve tried the air boss .30 in several guns and they have been utter garbage in everything. I mean garbage. I bought several tins of 33 gr in .25. Had good luck at first in a 600 mm fx liner (impact m3). Then they just stopped shooting well. Don’t know if subsequent tins were a different batch or something but they didn’t work. They don’t shoot in my delta wolf or other 600 mm fx liner in my wildcat either. I have written the brand off 100%

Disappointed after receiving an order from Pyramid Air.
The Apollo tins don't fit the Pyramid foam squares.
Too big for the small hole, too small for the big. They bounced around enough to dent the tins.

I have some tims of Air Boss pellets in 177 and they are much like H&N for me, a few guns love them and a few hate em. The ones that love them do very well.

I see at PA now they have some heavy .25 in airboss and apolo. I have had no luck with apolo but are the airboss any different? Thought about throwing one tin on my next order as I’m a glutton for punishment I guess. Lol.

Airboss son de mejor calidad, plomo mas blando y pellets con control de calidad, en los Avenger se nota la diferencia con los Apolo lata celeste, airboss agrupan muchisimo mejor

I have tried over 20 different tins from 177 up to 35 caliber Apollo and air boss pretty much the same thing, and it's really luck of the draw some variations are very clean very accurate and I love them typically the Apollo domed or airbust domed. Sometimes I have to wash them but overall the price per tin especially on fieldsupply.com, free shipping over 25 bucks, I can't find anything better for the money. hatsan Flash loves the Apollo 25 grain, there the most accurate even better than jts,h&n, aea, same as jsb accuracy at 50yards,so you can get lucky with these I've used every caliber they offer in six different air guns and for the most part they're worth it
