Aoudad hunt with the Texan .308

A couple weeks ago I was down in Texas on a hunting trip for deer and javalina. When I got an invite to hunt an aoudad, I jumped on it. Just posted the video, stop by for a look.

I've been using my AirForce Texans a lot over the last couple seasons, especially the .308 and .357. Got some more hunts coming up, and they'll get some more exercise.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I knew my rifle was on the lighter side for this animal, and really wanted to make sure I got it right with the right shot placement and distance.

If I'd known that I was going to have to switch guns I'd have brought my Texan .457 with me.... but it all worked out. I do have a lot of faith in this gun, right across the caliber options.

Great video. Axis, Aoudad, Blackbuck, Fallow, Red Hine and Whitetail are all on my hit list with my Texan SS .457. Been taking plenty of hogs with it.

Haven’t done a stag yet. Since getting the carbine versions of the Texans they have become one of my favorite big game rigs. A great hog gun to be sure
