AoA pre order

I pre-ordered an HW-77K from AoA a couple weeks ago. Upon putting a $25 deposit down and asking for an ETA, the salesperson checked and said the 77s were not on the shipment in transit, so would be on the next order. He wasn't willing to hazard an ETA guess, because it would be only that.

Having owned a few HW77s (decades ago), in my opinion they're springer gold. But I never really cared much for the dark stain, and (Beeman's) perch-belly stock profile. Hopefully my new 77K arrives in a lighter shade and the sexier stock profile shown in current propaganda... that REALLY rings my bell!

Glad I got mine before the change. Everyone has their own tastes, I prefer the old stock.

This is what I ordered, but didn't receive. Love the black contrast, rich tones, and classic vibe. I'm a little shocked that I received a completely different stock design. A little heads up would have been great. Have plenty of 12 fpe rifles. I was torn between this and a AA Pro Sport. Chose this because of the lovely stock you've pictured. Can't get behind all of these changes. A new Weihrauch spring rifle in the rack shouldn't be disappointing. I'm trying to like it. Going to let AoA know my thoughts.

I have a bunch of tuned rifles. I ordered this one to fill a niche in the collection. Sure this one will shoot fine, just not what I was after. Have a TX200HC, HW50, and HW35 all shooting at essentially the same power output, so yes the form was part of the equation. And all are walnut and gorgeous, fyi.

Ya.. i lie a sexy gun that shoots great is a gem..😉

I see at AoA some Weihrauch are on pre order with a deposit.

Has anyone got one on pre order and was given a E.T.A. Or just a twiddle your thumbs hope for the best till you may just give it up?

HUH?

I don't recall paying a deposit, but I probably did when I ordered my LH TX 200. It took over four months for me to get it in my hands. There was no ETA when the rifle was ordered, during that time I did call twice to check, the second time the woman I spoke to was very rude. After the second call I contacted AA, two weeks later I received an e mail that my rifle had shipped.
