THERE WILL BE A SLUG CLASS THIS YEAR. I've had a lot of interest in adding a slug class, and when Altaros Slugs wanted to sponsor a slug class, that decided it for me. Let's try it. The slug shooters will be scored separately and will be in the same relay. Altaros Slugs will have some great prizes for the winners of the Slug Class 100 yard BR.

Wow,

About time we had a class that might dovetail top scores with the actual target difficulty. Maybe now the luck of fickle winds can be compensated with airgun ammo capable of more consistent ten ring hits. I have yet to see 740+ scores in these events, even with the oversized plugs used to enhance scores.

Tethering will also be allowed in the Unlimited Slug Class 100 yard EBR and the Long Range Challenge.

I’ve arranged to have breakfast and lunch available to purchase at a VERY reasonable price. AirGun Oregon will pay for the Sunday Awards meal, but for the breakfast and lunch Friday and Saturday the catering person is offering $7.00 for ON SITE breakfast and $10.00 for Lunch. There will be a limited number of meal chips available for purchase at registration on Thursday and Friday morning... so email me ahead of time if you want me to save you some meal chips because you can't make it early Thursday.

We've been working on the new long range targets with the lights that flash when hit. The lights are so sensitive that we had to make three prototypes before we found a winner yesterday. The new method should work really well. The lights are bright and can be seen easily. We have green lights on the 5 point faceplate, and red lights on the 10 point paddle that is hung behind the cut out kill zone on the front 5 point faceplate. It's working great.

We have changed the last two target placements to be more inline with the first three targets so they will be about the same distance for all five benches.

The new distances are 145 yards, 170, 190, 250, and 300 yards.
