I wish to express a long overdue and well deserved thank you to Mr. Shane Roberts head of the Technical Department at AoA. Over the years Mr. Roberts has willingly shared his knowledge and experiences with me in my many endeavors of maintaining, servicing & repairing airguns. If he didn’t have an answer, o’ring size, factory regulator setting, needed part etc. etc. etc. he would contact the manufacturer & have the answer within a few days to me via email. I believe Mr. Roberts to be not only an enormously valued asset to AOA but an outstanding individual with the highest standards of maturity, courtesy, patience & professionalism.
My most recent bout in frustration of trying to repair a 10 - 11 year old Brocock Concept S6 has been just that frustrating. Scouring the internet for any and all information I could gleen. Ordering an o’ring kit from across the pond (England) from one of the largest, if not thee largest, airgun parts house on the planet for English guns only to find out the o’ring kit was incomplete! Now what - try to measure an old crusty o’ring - I have never been successful with that. Mr. Roberts I‘m asking for your help once again. “Ask and ye shall receive“. A complete list of o’rings was provided to me within 24 hours. A fresh valve poppet was also in need & Mr.Roberts assisted me with that as well. The original poppets, as you might imagine, are no longer available. “Hens Teeth”
