Anyone Using A CPU Radiator For Cooling A Yong Heng?

not needed, neither is ice .. it 'does' need a decent fan on it though to cool the manifolds mainly .. but regular room temp water and the basic pump setup is fine for cooling that little nipple on top lol ...

The second stage is inside that bright aluminum cylinder on top. The first stage is inside the black finned cylinder of much larger diameter on bottom. The water only cools the second stage. I would need to check but I'm thinking the fan on the motor blows towards the first stage cylinder fins and another fan blowing the same direction would increase cooling. If it's the other way, the fan just needs to be on the other side. Either way you want to help the existing fan on the motor.

I use Nuvair oil. It is not cheap but I think using good oil will help longevity. It is rated for high pressure pumps.

Could work aswell. Make sure if you order the radiator it has the pipes mounted on the radiator. Else you can't fit the water hoses

Finally got the 3-fan CPU radiator installed and I have to say it works quite well. I tested it on my 9L/88cuft carbon fiber bottle filling from 250 to 310 BAR. it took a little over 12 minutes and didn't go over 52C/125F degrees. I do also have a fan aimed at the back of the compressor.

Looks good Mike. If you have any issues with the links getting kinks in them brake line hose works well and seems much more resistant to kinking. I have my water bucket well below the compressor so my lines are kind of long and kinked when I was using the clear lines. The kinks really affected the temperature rise.
