I'm planning to purchase a LabRadar in about a month when a preloaded SD card is available. Trying to decide if the add-on microphone will be necessary with the Impact .30 Ronin suppressed. I'm trying to avoid having to buy and ship later.

I haven't used the Labradar with any big bore airguns, but based on my experience with moderated and unmoderated .177's I would bet you'll need the mic for consistent results unless you want to use the doppler trigger mode.
What's the preloaded SD card? Any update on the bluetooth app?

Rich at LabbRadar told me that in about a month they would have a pre-loaded SD card with the latest updates, and for use in saving data. This sound good to me trying to load both down and up loads in my IOS system.

I just purchased a Labradar last week and tested today. I love it! Not sure what he meant by a preloaded SD card? Best I can tell is it just stores your data in CSV format. You also use it for updating the firmware. Not sure how you are planning to get to iOS. I have a lightning to SD card reader somewhere. Propably just easier to remove the SD and stick in your computer. It stores a lot of data for the string as well as each individual shot. The only thing strange so far is reading past my target distance. I tested with .25 Impact with a moderator. I did get the microphone and it did not miss a shot. Forgot, my .30 barrel shipped Friday. Will be testing soon.
