Anyone try this ebay scope?

WestHunter HD-S 4-16X44 SF Mil Dot Side Parallax 

It looks to be the same as a discovery scope and for 108$ with mounts and side wheel it seems like a decent deal. If anyone has tried one I'd sure like to hear your opinions on it.

Probably is a rebrand I've seen a few rebranded discovery scopes for instance the Alpha6

Just don't let Cyclops get hold if it. It is probably pretty fragile. No pictures of the view through the scope, so I assume the quality falls off around the edges. No information on available elevation either. I suspect it's a standard $100 scope. Lots of features, not so much on quality.

ive bought lots of bargain scopes, theyll get the job done but side by side with quality optics the clarity is whats always obvious, so is finess of reticle ...it wont make you miss the squirrel but its a matter of what you want to use all the time .. on your 'good' gun one of those turd scopes wont do lol ..

Westhunter is one of the better quality Chinese brands together with Marcool, Discovery and Vortex. The adjustments and lenses on this one are fine. In fact I got a FFP for that same price on Aliexpress, which carries this SFP for around 90 bucks. I have 4 Westhunters, 2 of them on my FX guns. It's gonna be difficult to do better for that price on a PCP (never tested dual springer recoil resistance). But check out Aliexpress for a lower price.

Bought one, but not the same model that you listed, pleasantly surprise with the quality of the manufacturing, turrets clicks positively and is quite nice, image is very decent for the price.

The Alpha6 has better glass and superior eyebox than the Discovery.

I don't like to push any brand that does not have LIFETIME WARRANTIES unless they are dirt cheap like the Japan Barra like 20 cents on the dollar cheap (1/5 the price 80% off).

Damn brutal and super funny. I don't have a Discovery or Alpha 6, but I do have some popcorn!

Warranties go a long way...I would rather have a warranted product than one that isn't. My old Leupolds warranties are ironclad. They never break for a reason. Companies that put warranties on their product are putting up a bet that their products will last beyond the warranty or they will loose money. Companies that do not probably don't trust their own craftsmanship. Lifetime warranty=probably good quality stuff. Good point @Odoyle
