I recently purchased a HW44 off classified and I absolutlely love it, I'm a lefty and would love to switch the cocking lever to the right side.
Anyone switched the HW44 cocking lever

Let me know what you find out. I tore into in a little but didn’t want to screw it all up so I left it. I was able to adjust the hammer spring a little.

I can't recall when it wasted posted, but there was another thread and I recall it's almost a full tear down to do it.

Yeah, I figured it must be pretty difficut, considering what they charge to swap them over when you purchase new. It's not a huge deal, but it would definitely be much more convenient on the right side. I thought there might be step by step instruction or a video somewhere but I haven't found anything.

Whoa, that is definitely not like changing sides on a Veteran! I believe that's above my pay grade. I now see why it's pricey to pay someone to do it.
I definitely don't see me disassembling a perfectly functioning, new to me, airgun and screwing it up. Think I'll leave as is.
