Anyone questioning RAW's accuracy consider these.....

Conditions were excellent with just a bit of variable right to left breeze. 48 yards is as far as I can go on my property without risking too much ire from the neighbors, but I wish I had more room because one hole groups at that range with this rifle aren't really much of a challenge. I really need to get to the range and see what this gun is capable of at 100 yards or more. Shot these groups at 48 yards using a cheap one piece rest. I consider myself to be an above average, but certainly not exceptional shooter. The gun is a lot better than I am.

 
Nice shooting, even the group with the pulled shot, not to bad. I have seen about 15 different RAW rifles, various calibers and all shot very well indeed. Naturally they cant due to volume but it would be nice if the owner of every arigun company would personally fire what they sell.

That .25 should print well at 100 but that's when the shooter skill really shows up.

Moonlight - No bipod. My HM is set up to shoot just under 40 FPE. The barrel is 2" shorter than normal per my request. I requested that Martin tune the regulator for maximum accuracy between 35 and 40 FPE. I did some minor tweaking of the hammer spring, but everything else is exactly as it came from the factory. Scope is an Optisan Viper 8-32. Pic of the rifle & a recent shot string below.

RAW is yet another reason I've tried to get you to a Field Target match, we shoot with Sandra and Martin at the GOB and Invicta clubs in Pulaski and Minor Hill ( RAW is in minor hill so I saved shipping!). Very friendly people, David Slade of airgunwerks runs Invicta, Brad Troyer on heck of a nice guy, great shooter and provides us all with lot's of National champions, who would never mention that fact , people who work jn the airgun industy on a variety of levels, on and on. There must be 1,000 years of airgun knowledge available at the local TN shoots. I cant really shoot FT anymore but I still attend shoots and still learn a lot everytime, about shooting, who is coming out with what next, where to find ..... , advise tips, practical advice, deals, hamburgers.. The weather will be nice again soon, send me a PM sometime and I'll pack what airguns I have in the car and your welcome to shoot them all.
