Anyone own a hatsan sortie?

I had one. Quite large overall, mine had a factory folding stock. Power and accuracy was quite good. Pretty loud, very heavy trigger pull with no way to properly lighten it.
I've seen vids that showed the trigger pull around 4.5-5 lbs which isn't light, but if it's predictable, isn't too bad.

You think they're worth $400? Midway has them for that.

Eh, I'd be more likely to try an aea out. Trigger seemed heavier than that. The sear is also long. Like a cheap striker fire pistol. I'm not big on hatsans. I'd probably pay $250 tops for a sortie. I still have a nova star. I wish I never bought it, but I have it. I seriously doubt I'll buy another hatsan, ever. I don't even think I'd want one if it was free. Not any of them... Well, maybe a break barrel.

I have a Sortie in 22. Polymer, not the wooden version. I think it's pretty neat. A moderator is not recommended though, as it can allegedly cause cycling issues. I don't think it's all that loud. It should do the job job just fine in terms of pesting, but if you're looking for something small with more power, I suggest looking for something else.

I do wish I could get more shots out of it. 2 mags and you have to refill. Luckily filling it back up is quick. Even with a handpump.

How do these perform for you? Seen a few vids, but I'm wondering if anyone uses these in a carbine form with the buck rail folder stock and moderator?

Would make a pretty sweet backpack gun and pesting gun in 22 or even the 25, just 19 fpe is weak for 25. Would help keep down on over penetration though.
I bought one last week from Middlletown Outdoors via Ebay. $374- free shipping. Brand new, works great. The Sortie is ideal in 22, the 25 has a substantially lower shot count and not a substantial increase in power. You will spend alot more on pellets with the 25, semi autos burn thru the pellets and air quick.
