Anyone order from discovery-optics online store?

I ordered up a scope from them and haven't heard diddly back. Granted it was placed only just this past Friday but I figured I would have gotten a notification of some sort by now - mostly I'm just looking for "your item has been shipped!" . . . that'd be just ducky. They're apparently based out of China but hopefully, assuming everything ok with the order, it won't take to long to get here.

However the official holiday (business closings) is a 10 day period

I have... beware Chinese New Year can slow things down,it is a slow process anyhow....took about 4-5 weeks to get my scope from them.

Wes at Air Gun Archery Fun in Canada often has good deals on Discovery scopes.

And he does his best to keep shipping costs to the U.S. as low as possible

Delivery times are pretty good too.

I'd just order one from Charlie and cancel the other one if possible. He personally deals with any warranty issues as well with Discovery and will send you a new one if anything is defective.

I did and heard nothing but one day around 3-5 weeks later it was at my front door. When you order direct you must have patience for sure I was like you did they really get my order? Has it shipped? What the hell is going on? Then Shazam! I was surprised it was already here from such a long journey.

Upstate NY or Western NY?

The difference is HUGE

@SilentSquirrel - lol!!! Yup - I've lived in Western NY (Dansville, Wayland area - while I worked in Rochester area) and have lived near where I currently reside most of my life in "The Southern Tier" region - South Central Upstate - aka - Binghamton area.

Yes - Upstate NY is a surprisingly large state.

I want to second that. Wes is a class act. Had several dealing with him, straight up. And hangs out on GTA forum, and I think one or two more. Quick responses. The AG stuff he sold me has given me countless hours of joy, scope, barrels, pellets...!

Does Charlie's warranty offer better than MOST models in regards to the Discovery 3 year warranty?

All I can say is the LAST 2 most expensive Discovery scopes I personally bought were major disappointments in glass for the prices they sell for based on MY OWN EYES.
