Anyone LOAN a gun to a friend that got TRASHED?

If i lent a gun to a friend , they know better. but if they return it after using it like a hammer , or a pry bar. i would procede to use them accordingly! lol!

So now that the $1500 CAT'S OUTA the bag what's your definition of "accordingly"? His CAR isn't even worth that. Yo!

Well my friend, there in lies the problem, I would NEVER lend a gun of that level to someone that financially challenged. Even if they wanted to make good, they are not able. To me , you took a big risk. As I have also done over the years. Consider it a painful lesson. But I would treat them to my disapproval big time,

PS...…My aunt once told me before she passed, "never loan or lend anyone more than you're able to loose" and that makes more sense to me than anything that I can imagine. It's very hard saying no to someone that you know or to someone that you think you know.

I solved that years ago.. When people ask "hey can I borrow your XXX" I say sure.. I come with it.. And I do, chain saw, truck, tractor, tools what ever they need.. I usually end up doing all the work.. No problem, but my stuff does not get loaned.. Every time I did in the past.. Something got broken, screwed up or what ever..

Hey can I BORROW your lawn mower weed whacker rake dust pan power washer scrubbing pads gutter attachment ladder squeegee mop hedge trimmer blower broom 10 -55 gallon trash bags pickup truck sandpaper scraper paint brush paint roller paint mixer 4 rolls of tape 5 gallons of paint garden hose sponge carwash chamois car wax couple towels and armor all? Yo!

I lent an airgun to a friend just before a hunt on his land. He shot 3 squirrels out of the same tree and immediately wanted a pcp. Now we hunt together with our own rifles and the airgun community has another member.

Would I do the same with anybody? No. I have to truely know and trust the individual.

My uncle is a machinist that owns his own shop. He was telling me about an employee he had at the time, and my uncle wondered how his brain functioned to keep the rest of the body alive, he was that stooped. He came up to my uncle asking what he should do that day for work(mind you, he’d been there at least a couple of months now, and he asks that) and my uncle told him to find the henway tool. My uncle watched him for two hours search and search, and finally he asks my uncle, “what’s a henway?” My uncle says about 2 lbs(hen weigh)

We once sent an employee to the main office to pick up a 5 gallon bucket of A.I.R.... He actually went looking for it.

I felt SO SICK about that TRASHED GUN that I decided to kill him with kindness by offering him lifetime medical from Dr. Yo. You know that LAUGHTER is the best medicine right? Told him take one shot of this whenever he was feeling sick or down and handed him an official Dr. Yo. MIRROR. Yo!
