Looking at the NightForce 4-14 and was wondering if you could slip a 2x lens on and off. I have done this with cameras but no cross hair to contend with.

What does the bulzeye actually do? I read the manufacturer's page and it says everything from eliminating mirage to perfecting parallax to increasing brightness. It seems like it just magnifies the image.

Just yesterday mounted the new NightForce 4-14-50 ffp. Tried the 2x (thanks Skip), in reality it is at about1.5x to these old eyes. Point of impact had no chage at 4x to 14x with the bulzeyepro. Was just a touch less clear, maybe just need a little liquid tears in the eyes. Conclusion, if a person has a reasonable scope on his/her rig for the money verses a new scope for more power this will add a little on the top end magnification. I did need to refocus the reticle putting on the unit which fit the scope nice and tight
