FX Anyone installed a 480cc or Larger tank on their M4 Compact?

At what power level, or caliber and velocity +pellet weight? What sort of count are you looking for?

Not sure If this helps ...M4 standard 250 bar fill .22 JTS 22g traveling at around 920 fps , Im getting five mags more If I filled It to 300 bar .

The only thing you need to watchout for is your moderator diameter. You will clear the bottle if you are running a small diamter 1.22" moderator. The factory FX or DonnyFL FX mods are too big, so are the Sumo sized mods.
ETA: I would go with a 580cc bottle though, if you make the switch its only an ounce or two more for the 580cc vs the 480cc.

Donny Tanto/Koi, Hugget Belita/Snipe, Impulse Air 1200, 0DB etc. Anything with a 1.22" diamter or smaller. I like the 4-5" length so it ends about flush with a 580cc bottle, but thats just me. If you want the most quiet you can look at something longer.

At the 580 cc bottle point you might as well un compact it all together and get a 600 mm barrel. No worry about mod clearance at all.

valid as it gets. You are only talking about 2” more barrel and the bottle will stick out that much further than the 500mm barrel. Plus your shot count goes up a bit with the longer barrel.

The difference is 4" actually, until you put a moderator on the 600mm, then the difference becomes almost 10 inches. On the compact the barrel becomes flush with moderator already installed. ( the distance between end of 500 bottle to end of 600mm barrel is around 4"}

This is my view on it too. I want as small as possible, and I really like running a moderator. So might as well have as much air as I can while still being a compact bullpup.

Arkin, I had some Elements but when you have to use a pipe wrench to move the turrets because the lube they use is garbage, and they admitted it, I switched. I LOVE the turrets, big beautiful solid clicks. I like the reticles a tiny, almost too small, center dot that doesn't cover the target. The ones with the Japanese glass are pretty bright the others are ok IMHO.
