Anyone have a good bag rider solution for the Sidewinder?

I'd really like to add a bag rider to my Sidewinder, as it would help greatly in benchrest accuracy testing, as the gun is hard to shoot well from the bench and the trigger is not so great on these - if the gun could be better stabilized, I could focus all my effort on the trigger pull rather than splitting it between that and stability. It is fine from the shoulder, but I really want to test for the best accuracy for different ammo and tunes on the bench taking me out of the equation as much as possible.

I see K&L makes a buttplate for the LCS, and while it looks like it would fit I have no idea if it really would. While I'd prefer not to spend that much for a solution, I suppose the lower arm could be adjusted to work as I would like. But the ideal would be something that could be easily added to the existing Sidewinder buttplate.

Any thoughts?

Made this mono pod for my SideWinder with the course ACE threads. It fits in the butt pad, not on it. Balances on the center, not the side. Very happy with it.

Might want to think about something like this. It's a cheap alternative & surprisingly easy to use & incrementally adjustable.

I use a foam pad or a small bag on it.

Those are all great ideas. I think I'm going to start with the lift as the cheapest solution, mostly because I have not really decided if the Sidewinder is a long term gun for me or not. If it ends up being a keeper, I think Orion's solution is awesome, with plinker4life's being really good too . . .
