Anyone have a Evanix ar6k 22cal?

I just bought a used one from New England airguns for $505.00. Comes with a soft case, scope and moderator. One mag. I did order 2 extra mags. I don't know how old it is. So, how do you like yours? FPE? Ammo? Accuracy? Hopefully it's a light weight <50yds squirrel getting machine. Also I have seen a power kit for it online, but haven't investigated it. I have several more powerful rifles so this is for around the property and the woods behind the house. Let me know what you can about your experience with this revolver action carbine.
Thanks, Bill and Addi.

Over the summer I bought a Duk IL Arms AR6 in .177 caliber.
The Duk Il guns are the predecessors of the Evanix AR6 line
To address your question
It balances & shoulders nicely, and I believe is around 7lbs w/o scope

Powerful for a 177 too.
With 16gr Yun Jin pellets and a 200BAR fill (tank gauge) the steep Korean Cliff looks like this
first mag; 1069, 1042, 1039, 1030, 1023, 1011 (38 ftlb avg)
second mag; 988, 977, 979, 967, 960.,965 (33.6 ftlb avg)
Groups are much better out of the 2nd mag.
I think due to pellet speed
So I will be trying some 20gr NSA slugs

About the power kit you mentioned
Do you have a link?
I'd like to see how people tune these guns.
Especially since the hammer spring is pretty much trapped in place.

Thanks
Ed

Hi
I have ar6 22 cal
Was a pistol but now a carbine
Put in a lw barrel for better accuracy.
How much power do you want lol these are a bit of an animal in standard form
I'm aware of heavier springs and I think ballistàs do a valve with higher flow.
Be careful with stiff spring has hammer can break and trigger pull is horrific
Sometimes it's best left alone but I can be taken apart in a few minutes

I have a AR6K from New England Airgun. I am seeing 30-38 FPE depending on pellet weight. Very accurate and fun to shoot
with revolver style action. It is also very loud as you would expect from a non shrouded barrel. I an using a Huggett Astile moderator
which at standard length quiets the gun down nicely. Adding another 40 mm section to the Astile and you have a very, very quiet gun.
The only wish I have is for a bigger magazine, six shots goes very quick.

I had one in the late 90's and it was a solid airgun. Build very well.. I'm sure they still are.
Yes ahead of it's time in fpe and pushing pellets from behind and a quick 6 shot revolver and started as a pistol.
I will never part with mine it makes me smile with people's faces at the range.
They think chuck Connors has turned up lol

Who made the carbine stock if I may?

Who made the carbine stock if I may?
Hi bf1956
I bought gun with 2 stocks both rifle carbine stocks.
I dont know who made it" but it didn't look like it does now as it was old and tired.
A dremel and ebony stain and clear coat laquer and this popped out" but the shape was there already
Sorry I can't be of much help bud but they can obviously be made in laminate if that's what you like and it weighs next to nothing.

I would very much like to find a carbine stock. I think it would help with the trigger pull and besides it just looks cool. At 1 time there was 1 available, but no more. Hey thanks for the response!
I shall dig other stock out tomorrow and put a pic or two up for you to look at and see if it's the one your talking about.
Yes trigger pull not the best and my trigger blade had very sharp edges that made it worse.
I don't think the new ar6 trigger is as bad from what I've heard.
I swapped poppet valve spring for lighter and reduced spring in the grip to lighter now trigger pull is a 1000 times better
