Most any lube will improve performance and make barrel cleaning much easier. Just be sure your lube is compatible with seals and O rings. I use beeswax, all natural, good for everything, wont harm anything!!!!

I watched Tom's video a long time ago and have been using Pledge since then. I should have everything to start making slugs soon and was exploring some options with regard to lube.

I use Liquid wrench silicon spray. comes in an 11 oz. can. works good for me.
