Anyone ever make a rubber ball launcher out of a DonnyFl extender?

It would seem that by unscrewing the end cap, inserting/squeezing a 2 inch Diameter rubber ball into the 1.8 inch extender tube would give us a non lethal weapon that shoots rubber balls.

Not sure of the power output in my 21 inch barreled Bulldog carbine with .30 porting.

Amazon has the rubber balls for around 10 bucks. My firs choice would have been wooden projectiles, however the correct diameter is had to find.

You could really launch anything you wanted out of it. Tape ball, golf ball, doesn’t matter kind of like a potato gun. I wonder how important a proper seal will be. I’m gonna try a ping pong ball just to see what it does. All my guns are 22cal, doesn’t seem like they’d have enough oomph to do much by the time the air has gotten to the end of the barrel.

We absolutely will loose power as the air blast expands.


I went with the 2 inch balls to get a good seal.



I see wooden eggs on EBay that are 2 inches in diameter. If one put a flat on the base and reduced the diameter to where two oring grooves were cut, it may be the ultimate wooden 50 mm projectile.



For now, I will see how the rubber balls fly.
