FX Anyone ever get the urge to eviscerate a fly but by the air from your PCP only…? Just me?

Sometimes I will take out my FX PCP (Impact M3 or up until recently, a Maverick) and as easy as it is to smack a fly with a fly swatter, it’s even easier if you blast it at point blank range with $2K rifle and 50 FPE worth of air lol…

Yeah…I get bored if I don’t have time for the range lol

No, but I have blown the string around that pulls the blind up and down as I shoot out the
bedroom window at targets set up in the back yard! LOL.

I took out a spider that way some days ago. Turned it into a smear.

I shot a felt cleaning pellet from three feet away into a thick old bath towel to capture it for inspection. I was surprised to find it penetrated the first layer!

what a crazy nerf dart shooter my impact would be with the liner removed....
(yes i checked lol
and yes a nerf dart is a perfect fit with no liner lol)
but im guessing it would rip the dart to shreds in the process lol

Yes, the darts get shredded if they're hit by the full brunt of air. You also need a really good air stripper because the puff of air from the muzzle pushes the tail to one side or the other the instant it leaves the barrel

I designed and 3d printed a screw on muzzle device to entertain my daughter who has been enjoying nerf battles. It's not impressive at the moment because of the fact that too much air follows the dart even on my pp700 at lower power.

Been "air-blasting" flies with my Crosman 101 for 60 years LOL!

Been using a Bug-A-Salt with good results. Keep one in the boat and it's great for "seasoning" deer-flies that are faster than a fly-swatter.

I put a salt swat on my Crosman 2240b and it a fly killen machine only draw back is salt gets into the barrel if you point it up,but 5 ft killes with coarse salt

In my younger days, we would catch flys, load them in the barrel of our Gamo Compact pistols, and shoot them at a window, while one of us would narrate the flys short flight…it was hilarious at the time. Wild Turkey might have had something to do with it….

When I was a kid, I did this sort of thing with my Benjamin Silver Streak on roaches and such. Never really thought about letting air work its magic on flies, though.

I keep my BF 312 on the patio in the summer. One pump, gun goes pop, fly is gone.
The grandkids love it. It wears me out pumping for them.
