Anyone else do this

So......here in shreveport humidity is always very high.....and its hot. When I bring my rifle outside its cold from the air conditioning. As a result......its soak and wet within a few minutes. Literally beading up water everywhere.....same as if I sprayed it down with a water bottle.
So.......I crank the car. Turn on the A/C to remove the moisture.....but turn the heat knob to 75% so its warm dry air. Place rifle inside for 10 minutes. Done.
Am I overly Anal or what.......lol

Don't do that just South of you but do have to put the gun outside to let it warm up or the scope will be fogged over to the point of being useless. Checked TWC average is going to be 99 degrees with our wonderful humidity for the next ten days. I hate this time of year.

Hey Dan. I still got your number lol. You definitely know what Im talking about too living here. I probably keep my AC set lower than most thus compounding the problem. Hope all is going well for you man. We still need to meet up and shoot the breeze some time.

I have the same problem here in Ohio so I will usually put my rifle still in the case and filling bottle out in the garage in the morning before work during the week and in the morning before coffee on the weekend that way this isnt a problem.
