Other Anyone compared the FX Leopard to the RTI Mora?

Boy oh boy!
That's a cliff hanger
Which one is it you prefer @Esab?
Mora hands down! How you would compare a straw liner with a real bull barrel? In my opinion Fx should make a step forward and redesign something to make a high power gun shooting slugs and not adapting an idea to make it shoot slugs. Their Regs are outdated, as their valve. Most of their guns have POI shift, and slow first shots. The Mora has none.

Then you are not only extremely lucky, but truly the exception.
I’ve been very happy with every FX rifle I’ve owned going back over ten years now. I’ve owned a Royals 400, Impact MK2, a Crown Mk2 .177, a Crown MK2 .22 and now a Panthera. A good friend has had a Dreamline Tactical and now a Panthera. All of these rifles have been excellent performers with either pellets or slugs depending on their purpose. I am a careful, methodical tuner and have kept each rifle within its performance envelope and each of those rifle have delivered outstanding results.

It is true that we have heard about some FX (Meccano shooting line) that become a nightmare.

I have never participate in that game.

My Panthera Compact hunter.25 is a super rifle. My Indy .30 Cal has work perfectly for many years and I took a coyote with it. The Streamline .25 that I boug for my son has never gave any problem also. The Royal 400 .22 that I bought from Alen Zazadny for my third son MANY years ago has never my had a leak nor any problem at all.

BUT I am not a PCP ripper. I do not play with the tunning of my rifles.

So, I may not obtain rippers funny but neither the problems.

As a matter of fact, shooting FX DRS classic 600 mm with the super powerful plenum, is one of the best shooting PCP experience I have had.

I have owned Daystates (electronic and mechanical), Airgun Technology, Brocock, Sidewinder, Evanix, FX, Air Arms, Air Force, Falcon Prarie, Marauder, Jager.... Some tenths of PCP's to compare to.

I am happy for all your great experiences with your FX guns, but I am not. I spent a great deal of money for my FX Crown. It is priced at a premium. The problem with my FX Crown is a poor fit between the barrel and the receiver. The gun is exceptionally well made, but with that loose fit, the POI shifts easily with just the smallest tap on the gun. I use a barrel band and it helps, but is a band-aid. As a shooter I need to know that any miss I experience is due to me not the gun. Unfortunately, with my Crown I can never be certain. Who needs a gun like that?

Yep, that's why I wont buy FX anymore until they prove a big change in their line. Sick and tired to spend my time changing o rings, and dismantling guns. I want a rifle, not a toy.
