I am transferring a bottle valve from a small bottle to a larger bottle and and notice one of the bottles had no thread compound on it while the other one had some type of thread locking compound. The bottle threads are aluminum and the valve appears to be some type of steel with a black oxide coating on it. I do not want the steel to to gall the aluminum as it happens in automotive situations like spark plugs and aluminum cylinder heads. Thinking of using a small amount of copper anti seize.
Any advice?
