Just dug my slingshot out after years after recently watching YouTube videos about how to aim.. I was horrible at it back then but now I can consistently hit a 2 inch target at 15 yards.. about 16 out of 20 shots.. I'm going to keep practicing and then try it out on a hosp at my 15 yard feeder😁😁😁

Just recently got back into shooting slingshotsView attachment 581499View attachment 581500View attachment 581501View attachment 581496

Here are a few of my favorites along with the target I put together.

What I like best is that I can literally shoot them anywhere especially using clay rounds.

Unless you live "someplace" that restricts ANY thing that propels ANY type of projectile ! You may be surprised to find how many places have ordinances like that in the Country . Been there ,seen that. Great things to learn to shoot (again) though, had a few on the farm as a kid. If we had some ammo like now ,,,,

lol I posted this somewhere else but yess!!! I love slingshots

The Circle of Life for a Shooter

You start with a slingshot.
Then you upgrade to a BB gun.
Next, a break barrel or multi-pump rifle—your first taste of ā€œrealā€ airguns.
Eventually, you step into the world of powder burners.
Then you discover PCPs, go all-in, spend way too much, and realize it’s a whole ecosystem: tanks, compressors, O-rings, leaks, drama.
So, you go back to a nice, simple break barrel for its no-fuss charm.
But then you realize you’ve been spoiled by the raw power of PCPs.
So, you return to powder burners…
…until the ammo prices and range fees make you wince.
And finally—you come full circle—
You grab a slingshot, smile, and think: "This is all I really needed."
