Anybody have one AGT Vixen

I have a Vixen "short" in .177

Before pruchase i was looking for a pistol. But i went to the Vixen for its weight, total shot count and magazine shot count. With one bottle fill i'm able to shoot 180 pellets, 12x full magazines. With a Red Dot, it is way enough for a full day of fun plinking.

As every AGT product he has no fancy things, just rock solid features. It shoots very well at 50 meters (i do not test it farther, i have an Uragan for "long" distances).

I have the Vixen short in .22. Came to me shooting 16g JSB's at 795 fps with a fill of 3300 psi. I was only getting 36-38 shots (3 mags) at this fill pressure. I lowered the hammer spring setting and was getting 72 shots (6 mags) at 760 fps with a slight spike just before going off the reg. I bumped the hammer spring up slightly yesterday and am now getting 5 mags shooting 770-775 fps with an es of 18-20 fps. I'm very happy with where it's at now. I might also mention it got quite a bit quieter when I lower the power as you might expect. If adjusting the reg was a straight forward process I'd probably lower it to shoot around 720-740 fps range, but for now I'm happy. Accuracy is very good. Don't know if anyone else has this issue, but mine does not seem to shoot very well with a rear bag under the bottle. Could just be me, but I don't think so. I knew it wasn't a benchrest gun when I bought it so it's not a big deal to me. I also don't plan to shoot this gun beyond 40-45 yds, so the power level is fine with me.

Good to hear. I don’t shoot much past 50yds myself. Thanks a bunch for the info
