I currently have my RAW for sale (http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/wts-raw-hm-1000x-130-ft-lbf-regulated/). I wanted to use her for a small-game rifle, but she's too heavy for me to carry in the field. That's a shame too, because she shoots like a howitzer and is uber-accurate out to 150 yds (and beyond). She is legal to hunt deer in some states. (You can legally hunt black bear in AZ with her!)"hvack"
How does the raw compare ? is it heavier Will you be carrying it in the field ? how is the accuracy in comparison ?"marcella69"
hvack:"hvack"Hey marcel is your impact a new version ? If you have it to do all over and didn't have an impact would you risk getting one again , ( that had no issues) ?
I guess it was, since it didn't need the replacement probe screw. I no longer have my Impact .30. I sold her to buy a RAW HM 1000x .357 (130 ft-lbf regulated). I had no real issues with my Impact, except for a minor bottle leaking problem caused by frequent swapping-out of spare bottles. But, I use a pony bottle now in the field, so no more field-swapping of bottles. I bought an FX Wildcat. 25 for my small-game hunting needs. I do not need all the adjustability of the Impact, and .25 cal. is plenty power for bunnies; plus the WC is lighter and more stream-lined.
