I have three superstars one in each cal. .177 .22 .25 just wondering if anybody owns one ?
BSA anybody else own a BSA Superstar ?

My favorite springer of all I've owned. Still own it with factory spring but REALLY enjoyed most with the Theoben gas ram cartridge in it. Unfortunately, that lasted less than a year, so now is just factory spring. Mine is 177 and from the late 90s, if I recall correctly. Light, ergonomic, accurate , and decent trigger, with ample power.

Good evening. I too own all three calibers in these fantastic BSA Superstars. Mine are all in near mint condition and fabulous shooting air rifles. The .25 is one of my favorite guns.

My two Goldstars .177 & .22. BSA never made a .25 maybe due to the magazine size and fit. Can be tricky guns as pellet can fall inside cylinder if magazine is worn or aftermarket. I make sure every time I cock the rifle the barrel is facing down. Very large beefy rifles.

Nice rifle...I bought mine from a guy who's father had passed away. He had 6 guns for sale and I purchased all of them.

I wanted a .177 carbine SS for a good while. Every used one I saw had hack marks on it and I'm picky about that. I liked the fact that you don't have to do all the weird stuff to cock and load like a HW or AA. The lever latch is clean and neat unlike HW, AA or even Theoben. I've had a few RB2 taps. Time and experience has shown me I'm definitely a dedicated break barrel guy. The exception being my BSA prewar overstocked stash. Their cock and load process is so flowing and intuitive.
Modern BSA might not have had the triggers but definitely built attractive guns.
They're beautiful guns. BSA normally put select beech on them. Weihrauch used to do that but that's all history now.

FWIW This is my favorite BSA break barrel.
.22 Mercury Challenger carbine Very hard to find. Only made about a year and a half.
With the only rings I could find that put the scope low enough on the oddball raised 14 mm dovetail rail BSA used.

I have a .177 mk 1 Superstar, full length barrel. I have had it for years but it doesn't get shot much and just sits in the safe. I have a tune kit for it I keep planning on putting in the gun but haven't got around to it yet. Maybe this post will get me going on it!
