The poly seal must be slightly longer than the original transfer port and seal so that the poly seal is slightly compressed as the 4-48 screw and rear cap screw pull the breech down on the air tube. It is a trial and error process until you get the proper length. I've never had trouble on the 2240 or 2250 with the poly seal, but I made it as long as I could and had to really squeeze the breech down while pulling the two screws down tight. Don't give up, just cut the next poly seal a little longer and try again.
