It appears that he's pretty busy these days so I'm interested in finding someone who tunes FX guns.

I feel your pain BD. I sent my Crown back for warranty work and had the new hammer installed and it took a month and I paid $107.00 overnite freight to shave an addition week in transit back!
But take a look at what it is doing now.

Alan Zasadny is hands down one of the best tuners out there and he knows the Crown and Impact inside and out.

I tried calling Allen Zasadny 319-327-4303 and got a message saying the voice mail box was full. It appears he is also busy.

Stupid question, but what are you looking for in a tune? disassembly and complete cleaning or setting up for a specific pellet, or something else?

Trying to get it back to factory settings. I bought it used and it's inconsistent. I set the reg back to factory specs but I want the performance to be more consistent. I might just change out the FX reg for a Huma to see if that solve my problem.

I would talk to Chuck. He is in S.FL. Near WPB, I think. Don't know much about him per se, but he tuned a SL for Gabe Rossi that I personally shot (remember I was having issues with my tank) That gun is pretty sick, check out some of Gabe's posts on it.

Too bad we have to go thru all this to get a gun to shoot the way we want. Sometimes it appears the engineers are designing beyond the intended customer. I hope I never have issues with my FX because just getting a damn barrel has been a pain in the ass. Best of luck BD.
