Any Kral experts?

I just got a Bigmax .22 and am wondering if anyone has degassed one. There's not much info out there on this model. It looks like the rear bottle is mounted directly in front of where the hammer spring access is.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

I just slowly unscrew the fill nipple and let the air out. I talked to Troy Hammer and he said this is the way to do it. 13mm wrench if I remember correctly. Don't completely uncrew it, just until the air starts coming out.

It would be great to get some instructions on home tuning...

And I'd love to hear from people regarding the hammer spring tension and/or new springs they have used in these Kral variants. This has been one of the more helpful videos talking about the valve and HS springs and how they can be swapped for lighter springs. I hope to learn more on this... I can say from the few shots I have taken that it's blowing a LOT of air...

Troy Hammer at Annihilator Airguns is the resident expert on Kral PCPs. He's dealing with a family tragedy at the moment so he's out of pocket. If I talk to him soon I will pass it on that you want to talk to him about some issues with air loss.

I believe from what I was told things didn’t go to well and he has things to take care of, I’m waiting on a Tuned Mega Marine .25 that I purchased from him also.

If it was any other reason like being lazy or not carrying I’d probably ask for a refund but I’m looking forward to having a Kral in my collection tuned by him plus I have other airguns to shoot while I wait if need be.
