Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

Just realized one if my 2 GK1 spare parts bags has a few K1 orings in it. Couple small ones and a valve o ring.. go figure the o-ring ive been waiting for. Wolfiek said they were out of stock and i said i believe they both use the same 11.6x1.8 o ring. She replied with “i dont think so” ..
One in my bag and other from a K1 spare parts kit i grabbed.

Interesting, I don't have such an o-ring in the bags I've seen.

GK1 manual shows brass screw oring (#59) as 4.5x1mm (https://www.hubenairguns.shop/colle...en-spare-parts-for-gk1?variant=47416272224588).

I bought some from oringsandmore.com and they're WAY too big. I end up using a 2.5x1.5mm with sanded down OD to fit. Gun holds air now but the brass doesn't go in all the way because the oring is still a little big. Anyone else run into this?

There's different ways to measure o-rings. Some places use the OD, others the ID. Take the OEM and place it in the center of the 4.5x1. It seems like it will just fit. Can you confirm that? If you have calipers, or a mm scale, can you estimate the ID of the 4.5x1 o-ring? Is it oh, 4.5mm ID?

So what you need might be a 4.5mm OD, and 1mm CS o-ring, but you ordered a 4.5mm ID x 1mm o-ring. To convert to ID based, that would be
4.5mm OD - 2 o-ring thicknesses (1) = 4.5-2 = 2.5mm ID x 1mm.

The 2.5mm ID x 1.5 is too big, since it's OD is 2.5mm (ID) + 2 o-ring thicknesses (1.5) = 2.5 + 2x1.5 = 5.5mm.

Based on this, I'd say you need to find/buy 2.5mm ID x 1mm o-rings.
Here's a link for some. https://www.oringsandmore.com/fkm-o-ring-2-5-x-1mm-minimum-25-pcs/

You’re right on the money. Old oring is chewed up but would fit perfectly when new. I forgot china uses OD instead of ID. Same issue with Notos/PP750 orings.

Where do you get your O-rings for the GK1s in the USA from Oring suppliers? Probably will buy a few dozen just in case..:)
It depends. If I need a bunch of o-rings I'll use the oringstore, or captainoring. Make sure you get a kit, if available, or ensure that you are ordering the correct size! Sometimes I sneak in an item, if I'm ordering from McMaster-Car. Ordering from McMaster means you are getting a bag of 100, so that's practical only for small o-rings, since they're cheap. It's rare to find one place that has what you need.

Another source is from the person who sells the GK1. I'd email Kelly at KrazCool and see if he sells a complete kit. If he doesn't have it, I'd bet he knows where to find them.

One note, the GK1 seems to use NBR80 o-rings in a few places. NBR80 is uncommon. The standard in the US is NBR70 (soft) and NBR90 (hard). Use NBR90 where there's direct contact to the high pressure air, if you can. The NBR70 can extrude and fail.
