I visited the range the other day and they have a really nice set up. The benches are made from concrete and cinderblock and the shooting positions are protected by (what look like) new metal roofed overheads. The scenery and location are awesome, nestled in the Appalachian mountains. One range has targets out to (I'm guessing) 100 yds and another has targets out to 600 yds. Right now the club is hosting a weekly rimfire benchrest match (Friday nights, 25 yds) and a monthly "modified" rimfire silhouette match (one Saturday a month (benchrest, targets out to 200 yds). I think the location and facilities would be perfect to host almost any format air competition and there may already be some interest from other members. I'll keep this forum updated if / when we are able to set up a match.
