any input on the hatsan 1000x would

Well,,,It's heavy,to be expected being a magnum springer from Hatsan. I had the 105 Torpedo in 22. The 105 came with a gas piston installed. I was definately impressed with the how it cocked and released it's power. The build quality was great. BUT. I hated it's quatro trigger and it trashed the 3 scopes I put on it with in a couple shots and I could'nt get it to group well with whatever hold I tried or pellet used so I ended up sending it back. PM (septicdeath) I think and ask his opinion. He has exp with magnum Hatsan springers

I have one, change the trigger adjustment screw. (3m-0.5 x 5mm) for a 3m-0.5 x 8 mm screw. Tighten it in flush, cock and load it. Do a bump test (hold it and bump it on the ground fairly hard, in a safe area),with safety on and safety off. and see if it will discharge. I hear some may, mine did not. If it does just back the screw out 1/2 turn and try again. I have not heard if this puts extra strain on the trigger components, maybe someone out there can chime in. Lowes or Home Depot sells them. The difference in the trigger is amazing. Cheers
