Any info about the JSB KNOCKOUT Slugs in .22 thats not related to FX Barrels ?

Trying to find some more info about the JSB KNOCKOUT Slugs in .22 that is not related to FX STX barrels, especially the slugliners.

and yes I know, each gun like different pellets, but in general there is a big chance of predicting a gun that like a certain kind of pellet, and in this case the jsb knockout slugs in .22, watched all tube videos, and only find this interesting: Daystate Red Wolf HP HILITE that shoots these slugs good with slow speed,

dont have any clue what barrel is inside that particular gun. And that gun is probably very expensive 😆

* Is the chance big of these slugs perform OK in Hatsan LW or Artemis/SPA barrels?

reason asking is I have come over 30 tines of these slugs, and yes I can sell them probably, but it would be more fun picking a pcp gun that probably would shoot them OK.

I cant afford a FX Dreamline with STX barrel, I am almost certain I want a Hatsan BT65 with LW barrel or a Artemis(SPA) M22 (same as M10/M11) anyway, so it would be good if theses where good candidates possible.

I have shot a few thousand knockouts I got from airgun-haven , they shoot great in MY cricket CZ my ed-guns , and my Taipan regular and my unchoked slug barrel , they shoot fine here and stable out 200 yards , I have shot them in 750fps to 1100fps I like them , just wished they made heavier ones LOU

Lou, Have you tested expansion / terminal performance on the Knockouts? Just curious if they expand.

This is Quick five shoots group at 40y with my Vulcan 2. When I saw your post I decided I must try them in my Vulcan. I bumped the speed up to max with hammer spring and this is pushing them on average 780fps.I was shooting in Woods with very bad visibility and 9x cheap scope. This is the result. I know it could be even better. Regards Marko

Nice, seems to shoot very good, even at lower speed, thats a CZ barrel right? what twistrate

I understand you frustration. I've been searching as mad as well.
All I seem to find is FX barrels and slugliners, and IF I find something interesting, they've been shooting at 10 or 30m.

I just got the slugs this evening, didn't set up the scope as i'm testing more slugs this weeked.
A quick test, under 50mm/2" @ 80m. Around 80-90mm on my small plinking saucepan lid @ 130m/140y.

It retains energy very well, see the saucepan lid.

I'll get back with some more information after this weekend.

Hatsan BT65RB QE LW barrel choked, twistrate 1:17.7, Huma regulator @140bar, 244m/s / 800fps, JSB KO 25.39gr .216 ~50joule / 37 ft-lb
I'm fitting a larger plenum as soon as I get it (plenum for .25 regulator).

Cheers,

Pop

The 217. work great in my impact. I ordered some 216 which didn’t show me much in the impact but they do shoot pretty well in my red wolf standard (not HP) gun.
My experience with slugs has been pretty mixed. The are fussy. The impact guns are tunable. Generally slugs seem to like being shot at pretty high velocities and a few FPS can make a difference I found after some considerable expense if you velocity and harmonic tune the impact gun you can trick it into shooting great. If you can not tune the rifle about the best you can do is to buy a bunch of slugs and hope you can find a good match to your gun. Sometimes you can and sometimes not. If you are not shooting beyond 75 yards it probably not worth the trouble.

Sorry for late reply.
Nothing wrong with the accuracy on the .216, but they want fall out of the magazine due to the recoil.
I found out the H&N .217 25gr worked even better (see picture, zero 100m/109yd, 265m/s / 870FPS).

Now with the result above (thanks dreamweaver) with the JSB KO.217 I'm going to try them out too, even though I don't have polygon LW barrel.

Cheers

I’m shooting the Brocock commander xr 24” barrel ploy LW barrel average 876 while it shoots JSB .217 in 25.39 pellets great the KO .217 / 25.39 is shooting sub moa at 100 yds. I shot a squirrel at 100yds in the eye my aim point and another in the shoulder at 100 yds with no pass through both dropped like a stone. My red dots are 1/4 in. I’m amazed after hearing LE don’t do well with slugs. Go figure picture is 15 shots at 100 yards JSB KO 217 in 25.39gr
