So, I bought a Hammer from a member on AGN. I shot it about 10 times and loved it. Only shot at 25 yds to get it sighted in. Clover leaf with 3 shots using Mr. HP 350gr bullets. Although awesome and fun to shoot, somehow I convinced myself to put it up for trade. Why??? Well, to be honest, I started reading all the problems everyone else seemed to have with the Hammer. So, with little luck in trading it off for something that interested me, I decided to take it out again today. Filled it up to 4500, after 3 shots and a big giant smile, I was back hooking it up to the compressor for another go around. This time I set up some oranges at 25 yards. Oh the carnage! The gun is accurate, the puff of air is very minimal for a lefty and the satisfaction of vaporizing oranges is second to none. Needless to say, after I’m done typing, my Hammer is getting removed from the classifieds. What a fun, powerful and accurate gun. Is it a Texan, well no, it’s a Hammer. Anyone else have a love for the Hammer? Any long term owners? Any problems I should know about?
