N/A Any further info on the "EXPLODING PCP???" thread from a few days ago?

What's this all about? I'd understand that a PCP could blow up due to really high pressures in the cylinder and a fault, or a defect in metallurgy caused the cylinder to rupture - I once recall that someone tinkered with the valve on some PCP and it caused an overpressure to build up in the cylinder, which means it has happened before... But I'll never understand how my Cometa 300's receiver/cylinder ruptured. That I still cannot wrap my head around!

Moderator 3 locked the thread down to further replies stating the gun was being "hand delivered" to the manufacturer & would report results. I'm still curious what manufacturer, model, safety issues for owners, etc.

See "EXPLODING PCP???" thread from earlier this week to get the gist. (Monday or Tuesday)

No pics so it never happened imho
After Moderator closed it to further replies with an explanation I figured there might be some validity to it. IF there was I STILL think it's negligent to not warn others IF IT'S VALID. Again, IF it happened as stated and the OWNER was truly in touch with Moderator 3 I'd like to see us get a report quickly & not have it swept under the proverbial rug.
